NEW YORK, Jan. 9, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- CrowdComputing Systems (CCS), provider of the leading distributed workforce management platform, today released WorkFusion 5, the company's most significant product update since launching its SaaS enterprise product in 2012. This release includes the HR, business process management (BPM), and extra-transform-load (ETL) tools most valuable to reference data, financial content, and data operations professionals. WorkFusion 5 was designed to lower the barrier of typical enterprise IT complexity and empower business people to get work done.

The new design tool lets users drag and drop tasks into workflows from a library of pre-built automation tools and human worker instruction templates. WorkFusion 5 also comes with "off-the-shelf" business processes templates for equities, fixed income, derivatives, reference data, and corporate actions content.
Whereas a vertical HR product such as Oracle Human Resources provides an exhaustive list of features for every imaginable enterprise HR scenario, WorkFusion 5 provides a system that's purpose-built for sourcing, training, and managing teams of online workers. The platform's new multi-market streaming feature sends task listings simultaneously to all major online talent markets (e.g., Amazon's Mechanical Turk, Craiglist, Elance, oDesk), which significantly broadens the reach that businesses have in online worker markets and increases the speed of work. WorkFusion 5 also enhances the ability to configure multiple private, hybrid workforces. Users can create an unlimited number of integrated crowd, freelance, and employee teams and deploy them on different business processes. To ensure current and future labor law compliance, WorkFusion 5 lets users to configure worker locations and set minimum and maximum hours and compensation.
While many businesses will continue to find utility for IT-centric ETL systems like Informatica, WorkFusion 5 provides business-centric ETL functionality to customize data to a user's content configurations. WorkFusion 5's ETL tool is robust and scalable enough for the majority of enterprise content applications and works seamlessly with the platform's BPM functionality.
