Pacific Office Automation Announces Corporate Assistance to Help With Printer Cost Reduction

Office manager discusses methods to reduce the costs associated with printing.

BEAVERTON, Ore., Jan. 13, 2014 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Richard Wainwright had seen it before: Excessive spending on printer-related needs. His office manager wanted to discuss methods to reduce the costs associated with printing, but Wainwright had a solution.

"I had a bit of experience with printing costs solutions. So I did what I had done in the past," said Wainwright. He went on to call Pacific Office Automation, who showed him their latest multi-function printer, or MFP.

"Richard Wainwright had used our company before, so he had some ideas as to what he wanted," said Douglas Pitassi of Pacific Office Automation. "We showed him one of our larger models, as his company had a fair amount of printing needs."

The MFP had a number of functions that would help Wainwright's company save on costs and increase efficiency. Pacific Office Automation also made some additional suggestions to Wainwright.

"We suggested advocating to his employees printing double-sided documents, printing multiple documents per page and the utilization of fast-draft printing," said Doug Pitassi. Fast-draft printing is a method that uses fewer ink dots on the page but still produces a legible document.

In addition to those qualities, the MFP also has a number of workflow and efficiency solutions for businesses of all sizes. Print management software or applications are included, and the MFP can also share documents electronically through the network database.

"POA had helped me before, and they were able to offer us another great solution," said Wainwright. "Our office manager is very relieved that we could arrive at such a simple solution."
