Fresh One is the London based production hub, founded in 2000 by Jamie Oliver. Roy Ackerman is a multi award-winning executive producer of formats, documentaries and drama and builder of creative businesses. Amongst his biggest hits before joining Fresh One are the 2009 BAFTA-winner format Election, the hit format and winner of RTS Broadcast and Prix Italia awards, Operatunity, and its award-winning follow-ups Musicality and Ballet Changed My Life. He's overseen a string of prize-winning theatrical and TV documentaries including Sundance winners Why We Fight and The House I Live In (Oscar shortlisted), 100% White, House of War, Not Cricket, Tsunami: 7 Hours on Boxing Day, and Gonzo -- as well as BAFTA shortlisted drama Mrs Mandela.
Since joining Fresh One in 2009, he has led the expansion into new genres and platforms. He has executive produced the hit series Dream School in the UK and US and many of the other Fresh One shows.
