Regardless of whether you're a musician, music professional or fan, AAMPP redefines your music discovery and engagement experience with others, by bringing independent artists and fans closer together than ever before. Today, music discovery becomes truly personal, which remains a central piece of the AAMPP experience,

AAMPP's latest upgrades will introduce many powerful features to be rolled out during the coming weeks and months.

AAMPP Instant (beta)
Member Artists can now opt into the beta-selling program that allows them to set their original music for sale on AAMPP, receiving a higher payout per track or album than other industry competitors. Members wishing to participate in the AAMPP Instant beta will find more information via the tour page next to the "AAMPP Instant's" description. A "Get more info" button redirects to a registration request page where exiting members are validated, verifying that they have original content ready for sale. Following beta, AAMPP Instant will be opened up to all musicians. Musicians will be able to track and keep records of their transaction history in real time and request payouts directly from their AAMPP account. Fans can now purchase music directly from their favorite artists, to stream or download at any time. And future updates will allow purchased content to be stored in a fan's AAMPP Music Library, allowing them to create playlists and share from anywhere.

"Music Identity"
This phrase replaces the generic term "profile" as a key differentiator for AAMPP, from other services using profile when referring to their user's accounts. So, What's your Music Identity?

"Shout Out"
This phrase replaces the generic term "share" as a key differentiator for AAMPP, from other services using share when pushing content and/or information outside of their internal network.

Playlists/Music Queue
Fans can create playlists and also Shout out™ from AAMPP, the music they listen to using our new music queue.

Notification Customization:
Members can set the notifications type they would like to receive via email or through AAMPP's platform. New notifications include: when someone followers, Shout™ on your Pulse™, comments on Shouts, likes Shouts, Reshouts, plays songs or likes songs.

AAMPP Badge
Members can select an AAMPP badge in two (2) variations and multiple sizes for use on personal websites or blogs, which will direct fans straight to their Music Identities.

iPhone App
"Members asked that we create an app so they can have more immediate access to, and communication with, their fans while on the go. We listened and created an iPhone app with this first version (1.0), Now AAMPP's catalogue is with you wherever you go. We've made music discovery simple and intuitive, both for our professional members and for fans. There are more features and updates to follow soon after this debut of the app but, we think members will be pleased with Version 1.0," says CEO, and Founder, Garth Soshahi.

Through the app, musicians who create public collections on AAMPP can curate music, while fans can browse tunes and enjoy hearing new artists instantaneously. Download from the App Store to start discovering great indie music – completely ad free.

Better discovery through brand consolidation
AAMPP has often been mispronounced. We have been working to help remove this misconception with an additional, more phonetic, domain. Our recent acquisition of "Amp.net" help new visitors more easily find AAMPP, while existing members can now use the shorter domain with existing AAMPP handles to direct fans to their Music Identities. (e.g. http://amp.net/deeraby)

The Internet of Things is a misnomer. That implies that everything is on the Internet, and that simply should not be - especially for things that are blurring the line between medical devices that stimulate like a pacemaker and quantified self-sensors like a pedometer or pulse tracker. The mesh of things that we manage must be segmented into zones of trust for sensing data, transmitting data, receiving command and control administrative changes, and peer-to-peer mesh messaging. There is no doubt that Big Data is here and getting bigger every day. Building a Big Data infrastructure today is no easy task. There are an enormous number of choices for database engines and technologies. To make things even more challenging, requirements are getting more sophisticated, and the standard paradigm of supporting historical analytics queries is often just one facet of what is needed. As Big Data growth continues, organizations are demanding real-time access to data, allowing immed...

The “Second Containers & Microservices Conference” will take place November 3-5, 2015, at Santa Clara Convention Center, Santa Clara, CA. Containers and microservices have become topics of intense interest throughout the cloud developer and enterprise IT communities.
There is no question that the cloud is where businesses want to host data. Until recently hypervisor virtualization was the most widely used method in cloud computing. Recently virtual containers have been gaining in popularity, and for good reason. In the debate between virtual machines and containers, the latter have been seen as the new kid on the block – and like other emerging technology have had some initial shortcomings. However, the container space has evolved drastically since coming on...

While great strides have been made relative to the video aspects of remote collaboration, audio technology has basically stagnated. Typically all audio is mixed to a single monaural stream and emanates from a single point, such as a speakerphone or a speaker associated with a video monitor. This leads to confusion and lack of understanding among participants especially regarding who is actually speaking. Spatial teleconferencing introduces the concept of acoustic spatial separation between confe...
Data-intensive companies that strive to gain insights from data using Big Data analytics tools can gain tremendous competitive advantage by deploying data-centric storage.
