The announcement is something of a coup for the City of San Diego, as the new tram system will increase the ease of transportation for visitors of Balboa Park. The vehicles are easily able to transport up to 100 passengers per tram.

Keith B. Jones, the Managing Partner and Principal for Ace Parking San Diego, was delighted that the company is able to serve the city in such a way, saying, "Ace is honored to be the operator of the Balboa Park Tram System. As a San Diego based company, we are excited to apply our experience and serve as ambassadors to our city's visitors and local residents as they visit the park."

The hours of operation for the tram system vary depending upon the season, but regardless of the time of year, they will have a significant positive impact on the ease of transportation for park visitors. The tram will operate from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. from October to April, and will add more hours during the remaining months, operating from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. from May to October. No matter the season, the tram will run for seven days per week.

Ace Parking also announced the tram's primary stops, which include Spreckels Organ Pavilion, Plaza de Panama, Palisades, Federal Building Parking lot, Point Parking lot, Tram Central and Pan American Plaza.

The news that Ace Parking will be operating the tram system is sure to be received well by residents and visitors alike, who are likely to be very much aware of the company's outstanding service reputation. It seems likely that the level of service will extend to the tram's operation as well.

The fact that the company is headquartered in the city it is serving will only serve to reassure the public's belief that the tram system will be run efficiently and effectively, with customer service as a primary objective.
