Based on the same technology that simplifies management and recovery, StorageCraft ShadowProtect Granular Recovery for Exchange 8 and StorageCraft ShadowProtect Granular Recovery for Exchange support Microsoft Exchange Server 2013. They allow for quick recovery, search and migration of Exchange Servers, mailboxes, emails, calendar appointments, contacts, tasks and notes. Both products are available to managed service providers (MSPs) and value added resellers (VARs) throughout the world.

"StorageCraft ShadowProtect Granular Recovery for Exchange 8 and StorageCraft Granular Recovery for Exchange provide small and medium-sized businesses with reliable, cost-effective tools that ensure access to valuable information in company Exchange databases," said Brandon Nordquist, vice president of product management at StorageCraft. "Both products will give Exchange Server administrators confidence and peace of mind with the knowledge that they can easily and quickly recover emails, calendar appointments or even an entire mailbox following natural disasters, human error or other disruptions in access to email information."

As part of the award-winning ShadowProtect line of disaster recovery software, ShadowProtect Granular Recovery for Exchange allows businesses to recover mailboxes, multiple messages or email attachments from a ShadowProtect backup of Exchange to a production Exchange server or personal storage table (.pst) files. Recovering Exchange server data after a disaster or unexpected loss of access is one advantage to using ShadowProtect Granular Recovery for Exchange in conjunction with ShadowProtect Server, ShadowProtect Small Business Server or ShadowProtect Virtual. In June 2013, ShadowProtect Granular Recovery for Exchange 7 won the Best of TechEd 2013 award in the Messaging and Unified Communication category.

The latest addition to the StorageCraft Recover-Ability™ Solution, StorageCraft Granular Recovery for Exchange gives non-ShadowProtect users the same best-in-class recovery capabilities and can be used with other backup and recovery solutions on the market. Both products are efficient in recovering mailboxes or emails due to human error or employee transitions, and they also make it easy to consolidate multiple Exchange servers.

ShadowProtect Granular Recovery for Exchange 8 and StorageCraft Granular Recovery for Exchange features include:

  • Microsoft Exchange Server 2013 support.
  • Migration for consolidation of single and bulk mailboxes through enhanced drag-and-drop functionality, with automatic creation of new mailboxes on target systems.
  • Search enhancements that allow users to "match all fields" or "match any field."
  • The ability to set restore and migration limits to throttle data transfers and better manage network traffic.
  • Ability to select temporary database locations when hard drive space is limited.
  • StorageCraft Granular Recovery for Exchange can be used with non-ShadowProtect backup software.

Other aspects of StorageCraft ShadowProtect Granular Recovery for Exchange and StorageCraft Granular Recovery for Exchange include their affordable pricing and flexibility to suit the needs of businesses.
