ATLANTA, GA -- (Marketwired) -- 01/21/14 -- The College of Business Administration at Georgia Southern University will co-host its 2014 Fraud & Forensic Accounting Education Conference May 15 and 16, 2014 in Savannah, Ga. Accounting firm Porter Keadle Moore (PKM) will sponsor and co-host the program for the eighth year in a row. "Extra early bird" rates are in effect until Feb. 15.

The annual nonprofit event is one of the leading conferences of its kind. "Business of all sizes are at risk for fraud," added conference chair J. Charles Williamson, director of Georgia Southern's Center for Forensic Studies in Accounting and Business, which is within the university's School of Accountancy. "The conference offers a 'deep dive' into information about new types of fraud, investigative techniques, new legal cases, data breaches, Internet security and other topics."
