Improving the Efficiency of SOA-Based Applications
jhv1blz5 wrote: The article validated SOA as an IT architecture paradigm that can be leveraged in many ways. Taking data storage, scalability and application performance to a nifty level using SOA Application Grid infrastructure will no doubt enhance data and application performance on Oracle architecture platforms, it also has the promise of a cost effective and efficient IT delivery model. The very benefits of SOA.

Wrap Your Verizon Wireless Phone in a New Kind of Cool With V Skins From SkinIt
Personalize Your Verizon Wireless Phone With Family Photos or Your Favorite Entertainment Brand

By: PR Newswire
Nov. 1, 2006 01:30 PM

BASKING RIDGE, N.J. and SAN DIEGO, Nov. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Verizon Wireless customers can add even more style to their already cool looking phones with the help of V Skins, a fun, new digital image decal from SkinIt, Inc., a subsidiary of Global Wireless Entertainment. Beginning today, Verizon Wireless, the nation's most reliable wireless network carrier, will begin offering V Skins, which are adhesive prints that adhere to phones to both enhance the look of the device and better protect it from scuffs and scrapes.

"Customers today think of their wireless phone as an extension of their personality," said Pat Bucci, director of accessories for Verizon Wireless. "They customize their phones with music, ring tones and Ringback Tones -- now they can create a whole new look that reflects their personal style."

Customers can choose from more than 400 images of officially licensed entertainment brands, including rock stars like Kurt Cobain and Elvis Presley, movie characters, supermodels, comic and cartoon characters, sports, vehicles and general designs. For an even more personalized look, SkinIt has a proprietary process that allows customers to upload personal photos and designs to be printed as a V Skin. Now, customers can display an image of a special family moment or celebration at all times -- right on their phone.

"Personalization is really what is driving the mobile phone market right now," said Paul Buss, CEO for SkinIt. "With V Skins, Verizon Wireless customers now have hundreds of ways to show off their unique personal styles, and we look forward to seeing our skins displayed on their phones all across the country."

V Skins start at $9.99 and can be purchased online at http://www.vskins.com/. V Skins are printed on-demand at SkinIt's manufacturing facility and delivered directly to the customer's door within ten business days. There are V Skins to fit most phones sold by Verizon Wireless.
