HERNDON, Va., Jan. 22, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ --The Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC) today announced that Linda Hudson, president and CEO of BAE Systems, Inc., will headline the organization's Titans breakfast event on Jan. 30, 2014, from 7:00 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. at The Ritz-Carlton Tysons Corner. During the event, Hudson will share insights from her years of leadership in the defense industry and will discuss the importance of strengthening the nation's science, technology, engineering and math labor pool in order to preserve national and economic security.
Hudson, the "First Lady of Defense," leads BAE Systems, Inc.'s 40,000 employees in five different countries. She has spent her career in the defense industry holding a variety of senior management positions in engineering, production operations, program management and business development. Hudson will step down as president and CEO of BAE Systems, Inc. on Feb. 1, 2014.
