Enlighted Introduces Two New Wireless Sensor Products for Optimizing Work Environments and Energy Efficiency

Ruggedized and Compact Sensors Extend Human-Aware Building Systems From the Cubicle to the Curbside

SUNNYVALE, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 01/22/14 -- Enlighted Inc. today announced that it has added two new wireless sensor products -- a ruggedized sensor and a compact sensor -- to its sensor and data collection platform, designed for optimizing energy efficiency and workplace productivity.

The Enlighted Ruggedized Sensor is used in outdoor applications, parking structures, damp and wet locations and other areas that require an IP65 rated sensor. The Enlighted Compact Sensor's small form factor and flush mount design enables the sensor to blend into its surroundings. Both sensors are ideal for retrofit projects or for OEM's looking to extend the intelligence and capabilities of their lighting products.

All Enlighted Sensors connect to each light fixture in the building or outdoor areas -- whether fixtures are fluorescent, LED, or other types -- where they collect occupancy, ambient light, temperature, and energy consumption data. Once configured, each sensor operates on its own without requiring centralized control. Based on the stored profiles, Enlighted Smart Sensors control each light fixture accordingly. Data from each sensor is transmitted wirelessly to the Enlighted networked management system for deeper analysis and reporting.
