The 2014 Design and Verification Conference (DVCon) has grown to include its largest number of exhibitors to date, currently 39. The main exhibit floor is sold out and there are a few spots available in the expanded foyer section. DVCon, sponsored by Accellera Systems Initiative, will be held March 3-6, 2014 at the DoubleTree Hotel in San Jose, California.
Advanced, discounted registration will end January 28. Advanced, discounted hotel reservations for attendees and exhibitors will end January 31st.
“This is a very exciting year for DVCon,” stated Stan Krolikoski, DVCon 2014 General Chair and Distinguished Engineer at Cadence. “For DVCon 2014, we have sought to expand the conference’s focus from explicitly being on design and verification to include additional hot topics such as system level design, verification & validation, IP reuse and design automation, mixed-signal design and verification and lower power design and verification. DVCon attendees are among the best and brightest in the design and verification world. They understand that this conference can potentially help them do their jobs better. They are ready to get in depth demos of products and more education on the relevant technologies and issues that DVCon has to offer,” Krolikoski concluded.
The DVCon Expo has extended its schedule and will be open for three afternoons: Monday, March 3 from 5:00-7:00pm and Tuesday, March 4 and Wednesday, March 5 from 2:30-6:30pm. New this year is a booth crawl to be held on Monday during expo hours. Sponsored booths will provide food and beverages for attendees.
There will be 12 technical sessions, a conference record of 12 tutorials, a poster session with a record number of 30 posters being presented, and 2 panels throughout the conference. Of the 39 exhibitors, 12 of them are first timers and 8 are international.
