One of the Most Beautiful Calendar Apps for Android “SolCalendar” Unveiled in Indonesia

Daum Communications (KOSDAQ: 035720), one of South Korea’s largest portal sites, is introducing its beautiful calendar application _SolCalendar_ in Indonesian through Sol Studio at Daum.

SolCalendar is an exceptionally convenient calendar app which comes with a simple but sophisticated design. Users can check on all the important events immediately with its “split view” at a single glance.

SolCalendar provides the weather information for the upcoming 7 days and it helps users to set up their schedule more effectively. Also, it is tightly integrated with mobile messengers such as WhatsApp, Facebook messenger, Line, KaKaoTalk, WeChat, so users can easily share their schedule with their friends. The events can also be shared through various methods including text, email, and social media.

There is no complicated process of joining or signing up for SolCalendar. Once it is installed, all the calendars on user’s smartphone are automatically synced. All the other calendars which support the CalDAV protocol such as Yahoo calendar and Apple’s iCloud can also be synced by just adding accounts.

SolCalendar offers more than 30 different beautiful widgets for people who were getting sick of boring and ugly Android widgets. You can also use adorable stickers to decorate your events.

In SolCalendar, users can display events with the 24hours format and move to other months in widgets as well. Detailed schedules can be recorded and you can make them repetitive, bi-weekly, tri-weekly and so on. Users can customize further by selecting the number of repetitions or time of expiration.

Since SolCalendar was launched in English and Korean on September the 10th, there have been enthusiastic feedbacks from users and media all around the world. Some of them were spread through social media and word of mouth. The Next Web (www.thenextweb.com) introduced SolCalendar as one of the ’30 of the most beautiful and well-designed Android apps’. Recently, SolCalendar was displayed at the top page of Google Play of 10 countries (Korea, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Vietnam and Hong Kong, etc.) as one of the apps to help you stick to your New Year's resolutions.

Moreover, users in Indonesia, Thailand, Netherland, Poland, Denmark, Germany, Russia, Spain and France translated SolCalendar to their own languages voluntarily. These voluntary efforts of individual users have made it possible for Sol Studio at Daum to step further into globalization. It is now available in Indonesian, Thai, Dutch, Polish, Italian, Danish, German, Portuguese(Brazilian), Turkish, Russian, Spanish, French, English, Chinese, Japanese and Korean.

‘Sol Studio at Daum’ opened an official global user community (https://plus.google.com/communities/114268789932460565401) to actively communicate with the increasing number of users. In SolCalendar Community, users can report bugs, give ideas and suggestions, and have an open discussion about the SolCalendar's future. Also, the members of this community can download the latest version of SolCalendar before everyone else and get to SolCalendar team in almost real-time.

SolCalendar is currently available at Google Play.

Due of the rise of Hadoop, many enterprises are now deploying their first small clusters of 10 to 20 servers. Once the decision has been made to move part or all of a workload to the cloud, a methodology for selecting that workload needs to be established. How do you move to the cloud? What are the considerations for how to select the right cloud model? And how does that fit in with the overall IT transformation?
