Airpush Awarded No. 2 Spot on Forbes List of ‘America’s Most Promising Companies of 2014’

Leading mobile advertising platform Airpush (www.airpush.com) today announced that it has been ranked number 2 on Forbes’ Magazine’s 2014 List of America’s Most Promising Companies. The Forbes list features the top 100 privately-held businesses that have been assessed by growth -- both in sales and hiring -- quality of management team, margins, market size, key partnerships and overall potential for expansion in the future.

Forbes took a comprehensive look at a wide variety of different companies from virtually every industry and gauged their trajectories using the most historically significant variables of success. The full list is posted on Forbes.com.

“Rocketship growth isn’t uncommon on our list of ‘America’s Most Promising Companies,’” wrote J.J. Colao, Forbes staff writer. “In fact, it’s what we look for. But to watch a management team crack open a ripe new market and hang on for dear life as top line explodes is still good fun. Producing a ranking in the opaque world of privately-held companies is never easy. But we’re confident that many of these are the IPOs and billion-dollar acquisitions of tomorrow.”

“This is an extraordinary honor, especially considering the caliber of companies on the list and in each of our respective industries,” said Asher Delug, Airpush founder and CEO. “The Forbes recognition confirms our market position, our growth as an organization, our impact on one of the hottest segments in American business, and our potential to shape the mobile advertising industry in even more ways in the coming year. We started Airpush in 2010 to bring advertisers, developers and consumers closer together through innovation. Having a recognized leader in the business world such as Forbes comment on our growth and management means that we have stayed true to our original goal, and this is great validation for us.”

The Forbes #2 ranking extends Airpush’s streak of prestigious award wins. Late last year, the company was named a silver winner in Best in Biz Awards in two categories – Fastest Growing Company of the Year and Most Innovative Company of the Year. Airpush earned a #1 ranking on the 2013 Tech 200 list in September, and was named “One of the Best Places to Work in L.A.” by the Los Angeles Business Journal.

“We’ve assembled a stellar team committed to delivering truly useful technology and real results for our customers and partners,” Delug said. “Each member of the Airpush team has been integral to our growth and success. We’re committed to aggressively building on this achievement in 2014 while broadening our reach within mobile advertising.”

In November, Airpush acquired Hubbl, a New York-based pioneer of mobile native advertising and personalization technology. The company is now combining Hubbl’s best-of-breed personalized native ads technology with Airpush’s ecosystem of more than 120,000 mobile apps to create the world’s first comprehensive native advertising platform for mobile.
