"In addition to our recent investment in CreatiVasc Medical, we are in active discussions with several other companies that we met through SEMDA relationships. SEMDA has become an extremely valuable network for both investors and medical device companies in the Southeast."
Companies selected will present to seed investors, angel investors, venture capitalists, private equity firms and corporations focused on medical device investment and new technology acquisition. The 2014 conference will also feature high value speakers including Steve Ubl, President of AdvaMed, discussing national medical device legislation and policy updates, and Jeffry Shuren, MD of the FDA CDRH, who will be providing the latest FDA updates.
