United Arts Council Unveils New Look

NAPLES, Fla., Jan. 28, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The United Arts Council of Collier County is pleased to unveil its new brand and updates to its marketing materials.  The new logo features vivid colors and includes the acronym, UAC.  Additionally the creation of a tagline – "Your Connection to the Arts" - defines the UAC's role in the community.

The Council recently celebrated its 33rd anniversary, and the current logo had been in use for over 25 years.  The Council's president, Sandi Moran, indicates, "We felt it was time for a new look.  This update is just one of many steps we have taken over the past year to better reflect our role in the community."

Recent changes have included a move to a new office with expanded space for local artists.  Called "Arts-Mart," the facility is located in Mission Square West, 1495 Pine Ridge Road, Suite 5.  Hours are 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday to Friday.

Another addition to the Council's services is selling tickets to the public for local performing arts groups that don't have permanent locations.  The Council sells tickets to performances by participating nonprofit arts groups.  They also have half-price, day-of tickets to selected events.

A new hotline number, 239.777.3145, was recently unveiled for ticket information. It has a recorded message with information about tickets for sale each day.

The new brand development and creation of new marketing materials were developed by IMA Creative, Inc., a full-service advertising, marketing,  public relations, and web development agency located in Fort Myers, Florida that provides effective creative solutions and brand awareness for a broad array of businesses, that includes print, online, television, radio, direct mail, and more.   Additional upgrades are planned for the Council's website (www.UACCollier.com) and other marketing communications tools.

The United Arts Council is designated by the State of Florida as the official local arts agency for Collier County.  The non-profit organization's work is focused in two areas: promotion of the entire arts community, and providing arts education to at-risk students.

To promote the arts, the Council works with the county's 61 nonprofit arts agencies, 75+ galleries and artist studios, and more than 500 local artists to gather information.  Their website features information about the entire arts and cultural community, with the most comprehensive calendar of cultural events available in the area.  For more information about the United Arts Council of Collier County, please call Elaine Hamilton, 239.254.8242 or visit www.UACCollier.com
