User Group Meeting launches new educational workshops

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Jan. 29, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Medflow, Inc. held its most successful User Group Meeting to date, with the largest number of attendees; nearly 400. The 6th annual user group meeting, in conjunction with Medflow's 15th anniversary, was held in Atlanta on January 11-12, 2014.

Attendees and guests were greeted by Medflow CEO, Thad A. Throneburg, who kicked off the meeting with a welcome address affirming the company's commitment to the success of its clients. Throneburg said, "The framework of the 2014 meeting was to provide the Medflow client base with the most relevant content preparing them for the year ahead."  For two days Medflow associates and industry experts presented material in a concise and organized manner on topics such as: the ICD-10 transition, IRIS Registry, Meaningful Use Stages 1 and 2, surviving a MU audit, and more.

Chris Boatner of Wooster Eye Center said, "I was extremely impressed with both the level of organization and content of the meeting. I am convinced that Medflow is leading us in the direction we must go."

The meeting's collaborative learning environment inspired users to continue the learning process, through the creation of regional training workshops. Over the next six months Medflow will host regional training workshops in ten cities across the country. Jim Messier, VP of Sales and Marketing, said, "Medflow is overwhelmed by our client's enthusiasm to gain more knowledge about Medflow EHR.  There are so many different initiatives changing for our clients in 2014, we feel through this continuing education process our users will be the best prepared in the industry to face those challenges and be successful with the transitioning healthcare landscape."
