NORTH LAKE TAHOE, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 01/30/14 -- A luxurious mountain resort, The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe offers a breathtaking setting for corporate retreats, conferences, weddings and celebrations. With the introduction of its Group Buy-Out Option, the hotel is now able to provide groups with an exclusive resort experience.

Available from late April to late May and late October to mid-November, the new program allows groups exclusive use of the resort, from its 170 guest accommodations to its elegant event spaces. It also includes a waiver of the resort fee and a daily $10,000 banquet food and beverage credit for each night of the buy-out.

With this special program, available from $35,000 a day, groups can enjoy The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe at their leisure, and planners can customize the property and it services and amenities to fit the needs of their event. The Group Buy-Out also offers the convenience of room blocks without the restraints of a cut-off date; all guest rooms are held for each night of the buy-out.

Groups participating in the program will enjoy exclusive use of 153 deluxe rooms, 16 one-bedroom suites and The Ritz-Carlton Suite, in addition to four indoor meeting and event spaces and three outdoor event spaces. Included in the program, The Ritz-Carlton Ballroom can host up to 500 guests indoors, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering stunning views of the Sierra Nevada. For a true mountain experience, The Meadows can host up to 400 guests for an outdoor wedding or celebration.

Guests will enjoy more than simply a beautiful room; the Lake Tahoe vacation resort features luxurious amenities and facilities. At The Ritz-Carlton Spa, Lake Tahoe, the elements of nature are used to relax and rejuvenate with treatments including the mustard and eucalyptus bath and massage, and other seasonal therapies. The outdoors often inspires guests to stay active, and a 24-hour state-of-the-art fitness center, wellness programs and pool allow them to take time for themselves during their stay.

While the Group Buy-Out includes daily banquet services, visitors can also experience North Lake Tahoe dining options, including rustic California cuisine at the resort's signature restaurant, Manzanita and the new casual outdoor Backyard Bar & BBQ.
