Wolters Kluwer Audit, Risk & Compliance announced today that its TeamMate audit management system is now available through the U.K. government’s G-Cloud program. The G-Cloud or CloudStore is the online resource for U.K. government agencies to shop for and select online technology solutions.
Russell Heppleston, audit manager with the Mid-Kent Audit Partnership in the U.K. says Cloud-based access to Teammate has given the partnership needed flexibility.
“Auditors can access TeamMate wherever and whenever they like, regardless of location and hardware, which is vital in a partnership environment,” Heppleston said. “Moving to the hosted environment was straightforward and with minimal disruption. We were provided with a level of support that made the whole process painless. In the words of our management team, moving to a hosted solution was a ‘no-brainer.’”
“Governments and other organizations across the globe have a growing need to access various tools and resources via the Internet,” said Mike Gowell, vice president and global general manager, TeamMate. “Offering TeamMate through the G-Cloud is another example of how we are helping them reduce their IT burdens and increase efficiencies through hosted solutions.”
In April, Wolters Kluwer Audit, Risk & Compliance announced the launch of its new TeamMate hosting center in London, which is helping meet the growing demands from its clients in the U.K. and Europe. TeamMate offers full or lite hosting, allowing audit departments of all sizes to access their audit programs, work papers, recommendations and other TeamMate data securely through the web. To date, more than 1,600 users at about 120 organizations have implemented TeamCloud, including companies based in the U.K., Italy, France, Japan, Honduras, India, Australia, Ireland, Netherlands Antilles, Canada and the U.S.
TeamMate is the world’s most widely-used audit management system. More than 90,000 auditors and over 2,000 organizations across the world rely on TeamMate to improve the audit process, including risk assessment, scheduling, planning, execution, review, report generation, trend analysis, committee reporting and storage.
