Funds Raised to Help Team Member Donated by Global Travel Network Utah

Global Travel Network Utah is proud to announce that it has contributed to a fund-raising campaign to help a relative of a marketing department member in dire need.

SALT LAKE CITY, Feb. 10, 2014 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Global Travel Network Utah is an industry-leading vacation provider with a marketing department that is focused on being better community partners and corporate citizens. Throughout the year, GTN Utah donates to a variety of causes. Global Travel Network Utah strongly believes in many core values, including that of a corporate responsibility to help those less fortunate and to assist those who are in need.

Recently, a family member related to a Global Travel Network Utah employee in the marketing department desperately needed an operation to replace a kidney. The family member had been battling kidney cancer for a long time. The gentleman is the main provider for his family, which includes his wife, two daughters, and mother. One of his daughters was willing to donate her kidney to her father, but she unfortunately was not a match.

The gentleman is on dialysis treatments for nine hours a night, and is hoping to switch to a different form of treatment. Unfortunately, his condition does impact him in all aspects of his life, and he was struggling to provide for his family. He hopes to increase awareness about the Kidney Swap Program, which is a transplant program that is implemented in many hospitals around the country.

With the help of Global Travel Network Utah, the Booster campaign, which was run online, was able to raise nearly $2,500 for the family to help with their food expenses and rent while the gentleman waits and hopes for a kidney that will be a match to his body's antibodies.

GTN Utah is proud to have aided this extremely deserving family in helping them to pay for their daily expenses and rent costs. Global Travel Network Utah pledges to continue to donate to worthy causes and initiatives throughout the year of 2014 as part of its good corporate citizenship program, and hopes that its charitable contributions will improve and change the lives of those in the community and around the world.

Because of these efforts, the company's marketing department has thrived, thanks to a positive mentality shift for its team of dedicated telemarketers. Prospects for this luxury vacation club recently faced challenges in respect to the details of their offers, but with a recent effort to clear up any miscommunications, along with positive press, these issues have been resolved. This has freed the company up to partake in more charitable fundraising, rather than spending valuable prospecting time on resolving complaints.

Press release distributed by JW Maxx Solutions, a leader in online reputation management and part of a family of companies that includes Prensa Ahora and Enterate Ahora.

DevOps is about increasing efficiency, but nothing is more inefficient than building the same application twice. However, this is a routine occurrence with enterprise applications that need both a rich desktop web interface and strong mobile support. Application metrics, logs, and business KPIs are a goldmine. It’s easy to get started with the ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash and Kibana) – you can see lots of people coming up with impressive dashboards, in less than a day, with no previous experience. Thanks to Docker, it becomes very easy to leverage containers to build, ship, and run any Linux application on any kind of infrastructure. Docker is particularly helpful for microservice architectures because their successful implementation relies on a fast, efficient deployment mechanism – which is precisely one of the features of Docker.
