LAFAYETTE, Colo., Feb. 11, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- RaceRender LLC has released the latest generation of its popular video + data overlay software for Microsoft Windows® and Apple Mac OS X®. With support for a wide range of digital video cameras and data sources, RaceRender 3 offers users the flexibility to utilize many products that they may already own. Data is accepted from a variety of GPS recorders, motorsports data acquisition systems, GPS-enabled sports cameras, and telemetry-recording smartphone apps. The resulting data overlay graphics can be easily applied and synchronized to regular video footage, customized further, and then rendered into a high-definition output for viewing and uploading to video sharing sites and social media.

"RaceRender 3 is the result of extensive development work aimed at providing the most capability and best user experience of any video+data software on the market," said Weston Pawlowski, owner of RaceRender LLC. "It exceeds the already extensive capabilities of RaceRender 2, adding new and improved data overlays, more intuitive user interfaces, more powerful video and data synchronization tools, and many other enhancements to complete a well-rounded and polished user experience. The runaway success of sports action cameras, combined with GPS and other data being easier to obtain than ever before, is a very exciting time for RaceRender and its users, and a great fit for RaceRender 3."

  • Free Edition offers the basic functionality, and can create short videos, for free.

Due of the rise of Hadoop, many enterprises are now deploying their first small clusters of 10 to 20 servers. Once the decision has been made to move part or all of a workload to the cloud, a methodology for selecting that workload needs to be established. How do you move to the cloud? What does the discovery, assessment and planning look like? What workloads make sense? Which cloud model makes sense for each workload? What are the considerations for how to select the right cloud model? And how does that fit in with the overall IT transformation?
