The 2014 ChinaJoy B to B area will take place in the Shanghai New International Expo Centre N1 Hall from July 31st to August 2nd. The organizer is now calling for companies to take their last chance at early bird bookings, which will end by March 10, 2014.
Since work-to-booth booking began in October 2013, a large number of Chinese and foreign companies have quickly signed up for booth spaces, which is much faster than expected. As one of the main segments of ChinaJoy, the B to B area will be undergoing some changes in 2014. Moved from the W5 hall to the N1 hall, the B to B area is aimed at providing exhibitors with wider space. Equipped with more advanced facilities and painted in dark, the N1 hall will leave participants a better exhibition experience.
The 2013 ChinaJoy B to B exhibition has received widespread praise from the international gaming community. It provides a platform for all kinds of business activities, ranging from business talks, copyright trading, technology demonstration, product promotions, investment and financing, channel marketing, and IP authorization.
The 2013 ChinaJoy B to B exhibition ended with great success and was followed by a lot of inquiries, feedback, and 2014 bookings from both Chinese and foreign enterprises. Among those domestic companies, there are Baidu, Sohu, Giant Interactive, Kong Zhong, BL Technologic, Beijing Kai Xin Ren, Babeltime, ZPlay, Gamewave Interactive, 4399, 37wan, Pitaya Game, Shanghai Tiger Cool, Mei Sheng Yuan, Qu Bi, Xiao Xu Music, LightRain Music, Ai Bei, and Innosystem Technology. They have either already confirmed their 2014 spots or are in the process of booking. Foreign companies include Google, Incross, Unity, Smilegate, Crytek, Hovok, Nvidia, SK, Mail.ru, Ubisoft, Gameforge, Gamigo, Xsolla, Mol-Money Online, True Digital Plus, Mopay, PT. Megaxus Infotech, and Gameview Sdn Bhd. There are also country pavilions or grouping delegations from the Republic of Korea, Taiwan area, Poland, England and etc. These bookings make the 2014 ChinaJoy full of expectation.
There is a sharp increase in booking numbers and booth size this year. For instance True Digital Plus expanded their booth from 9 square meters to 54 square meters this year. Kai Xin Ren tripled their booth from 36 square meters to 108 square meters. Unity also doubled their booth from 54 square meters to 108 square meters.
By now more than half of the exhibition area for the 2014 B to B area has been sold, twice the area of 2013 of the same period. Companies that would like to participate in 2014 ChinaJoy should make arrangements soon before the booths run out. Exhibitors who book and pay before March 10th 2014 can still receive the early bird discounts. Prices will return to normal right after that.
