Interlude, S-Curve Records And MTV Collaborate To Unveil Interactive Music Video For NightBus Showcasing Stereo 3-Way

Emerging Dance-Pop Band Partners with Leading Interactive Video Technology Company, Innovative Independent Label to Deliver First-of-Its-Kind Audio-Visual Experience

NEW YORK, Feb. 12, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Hot new band NightBus, in collaboration with interactive video technology company Interlude and full-service recording and music publishing company S-Curve Records, today released an interactive music video for "When The Night Time Comes," the debut single from the dance-pop band's recently released EP of the same name by S-Curve. The music video incorporates Stereo 3-Way, a major innovation in stereo sound pioneered by NightBus singer Jack Kennedy, with Interlude's interactive video technology to deliver an all-new audio-visual experience.

The interactive "When The Night Time Comes" video is premiering on MTV Artists, MTV's new digital artist platform and can be viewed at http://nightbus.mtv.com.

Stereo 3-Way offers three different versions of "When The Night Time Comes" when listening with earbuds: one by NightBus' Hannah Melbourn (left earbud), one by Jack Kennedy (right earbud) and the full song in stereo (both earbuds). With this groundbreaking video, Interlude extends Stereo 3-Way to include a visual representation of the same innovation: viewers can seamlessly alternate between a music video of each of Melbourn's and Kennedy's versions using a sliding button to watch and hear as much of either version (or both in stereo and in split screen) as they like.

"The idea of one song, three ways was already a revolutionary concept, but the video takes it to another level, thanks to the creative genius of the people at Interlude," said Steve Greenberg, CEO and founder of S-Curve Records. "With this video-audio combination, NightBus and Interlude have introduced truly compelling innovations that expand music's capabilities in the digital age."

"Stereo 3-Way introduces an amazing way to listen to music, and our challenge was to create a video that matched that innovation stride for stride," said Yoni Bloch, CEO and co-founder of Interlude. "We wanted to add another twist, providing a visual experience that not only complemented, but amplified the unique listening experience. By pushing the boundaries of interactivity, we delivered a first-of-its-kind music video that engages fans to become active participants in shaping the song."

The NightBus "When The Night Time Comes" video is the third collaboration between S-Curve Records and Interlude who created interactive videos for music artists Andy Grammar and We the Kings. Both the Andy Grammer and We The Kings videos won the MTV-O Music Award for Most Innovative Video. Interlude has built a rich history of digital storytelling and helped major music artists leverage interactive video to offer fans a novel way to experience their songs. Last year, the company launched the internationally acclaimed interactive music video for Bob Dylan's "Like a Rolling Stone," and recently partnered with The Tribeca Film Festival to launch the first-ever interactive music video category at the festival this year.

Fronted by Jack Kennedy, a Los Angeles-based musician, and Hannah Melbourn, a British singer, NightBus is part of S-Curve Records, one of the industry's most innovative independent music companies. Since its inception in 2000, S-Curve has boasted an eclectic roster of critically acclaimed artists, including Joss Stone, Andy Grammer, We The Kings, Fountains of Wayne, Baha Men, Tom Jones, Little Jackie, Diane Birch, Care Bears on Fire and Tinted Windows, among many others.

Released on January 14, NightBus' "When The Night Time Comes" EP features the single in three different versions along with two other tracks, "Twofer" and "Across the Sea." To purchase the EP on iTunes, visit http://bit.ly/19zCbai.
