At 12:00am EST (New York) Freelancer.com released 150 cryptic questions and challenges, which will spur thousands of teams from around the world to attempt these tasks and many more. The Scavenger Hunt, with more than 25,000 registered participants, is in contention to break the current Guinness Book of Records for Largest Media Scavenger Hunt.

The grand prize of US$20,000 will be awarded to the team who earns the most points from completing tasks. There is a total of US$30,000 cash prizes to be won.
