RICHMOND, Va., Feb. 18, 2014 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- SearchBlox™, the world's leading provider of powerful enterprise search solutions, today announces a new integration with the Salesforce series of CRM applications. The integration marks the start of a powerful new era for Salesforce users, who can now search Salesforce itself and multiple other data sources without ever leaving the application.

Traditionally, Salesforce users have been forced to toggle between many different windows and applications in order to handle customer inquiries but, with SearchBlox™ integrated directly into the application, faceted and federated searches can now take place through a single query.

"A single search term can now be used to recall information from Salesforce itself and external sources such as websites, file systems, data/news feeds, social websites and custom applications. Search results are returned to Salesforce users on a single screen, either directly through Salesforce itself or through the SearchBlox™ web interface," says Timo Selvaraj, Co-Founder of SearchBlox Software, Inc.

Continuing, "This prevents Salesforce users from having to juggle multiple data and content repositories, allowing them to assist customers faster than ever before and ultimately expand their bottom line. SearchBlox™ literally brings all of their data sources into one place, by allowing federated search from a single screen."

SearchBlox™ is also breaking new ground in the marketplace by offering their integrations with no per-user, contract fees or commitments. SearchBlox™ Salesforce integration comes free with use of SearchBlox Server™.

"We've got a great integration with Salesforce and the package is free to use with the SearchBlox Server™, leaving no excuse for companies not to try it out. This is the most cutting-edge technology available and all organizations will benefit from its features," Selvaraj adds.

To get started, Salesforce administrators are required to simply install the SearchBlox™ Salesforce package and configure for use with SearchBlox Server™. For more information on the integration, visit: http://www.searchblox.com/salesforce-integration-made-easy-for-faceted-search.
