iBasis, a KPN company, today announced that its LTE Signaling eXchange (LSX) service is providing LTE Roaming in France and Norway for KPN Mobile and Hi subscribers. The companies plan to expand LTE roaming for KPN subscribers to many other countries in the coming months.
“Once mobile subscribers experience the high quality and capacity of LTE in their home countries, they will expect to maintain that level of service as they travel on business or holidays,” said Willem Offerhaus, CEO of iBasis. “So, LTE roaming is a matter of customer satisfaction, retention and ultimately, revenue. We are very happy to have our sister companies in the KPN Group join the growing number of mobile operators using our LTE Signaling eXchange service to deliver a consistent, high-quality LTE experience for their roaming subscribers.”
