Retortal launches revolutionary social media platform

Tech start-up brings first content driven social scheduler to market

London, UK - 20 February 2014: Retortal, social media tech start-up, has announced the official launch of its white label social media marketing control panel and content generation service - the first of its kind on the market.

The platform is aimed at web, SEO, marketing, creative and PR agencies to assist them in providing a social media presence, via Twitter and Facebook to SMBs, which includes keyword rich daily tweets and posts, as well as custom images. The white label platform can be comprehensively rebadged to fit the branding of the provider. Agencies can sign up to the service for free, which provides full access to the social media scheduling control panel and a suite of social media marketing resources. Retortal's content writing service is competitively priced and resellers are able to set their own pricing structures on what they charge their clients.

"We've been in the agency environment for over 20 years, and we know how they work and understand their business objectives. Using this expertise and experience, we've developed this control panel to address those needs and ultimately assist agencies in growing their brands and their revenue," says Richard Ells, director, Retortal.

"The platform is the ideal complementary product to an agency's list of services, especially for those that have not traditionally offered social media solutions, or wish to extend these services to smaller clients. It can be used to upsell other services and provides a clear competitive advantage in new business scenarios. Further, the control panel can also assist in retaining clients as it is visibly promoting their businesses in a highly transparent way, while other digital services, such as SEO, can take a while to show results."

Kirk Fletcher, Express SEO, explains: "We've been selling social campaigns via Retortal and our clients love the content and platform. We've also been giving away social [campaigns] to close larger sales. As soon as we demo our social control panel, the sale is made."

The easy-to-use platform has a comprehensive reporting capability and features a unique RSS newsfeed reader that dramatically reduces the research time required to find authoritative content to populate Twitter accounts and Facebook pages. The newsfeed reader allows users or agencies to quickly scan through news stories, select the most relevant and quickly schedule them for posting.

The platform is being sold through a global reseller network. Since its soft launch late last year, Retortal has signed up over 250 resellers with over half of new sign-ups coming in January.

Enterprises are turning to the hybrid cloud to drive greater scalability and cost-effectiveness. But enterprises should beware as the definition of “policy” varies wildly. In his session at 16th Cloud Expo, Derek Collison, founder and CEO of Apcera, will: Explain what policy is; Show how policy should be arc...

Even though it’s now Microservices Journal, long-time fans of SOA World Magazine can take comfort in the fact that the URL – soa.sys-con.com – remains unchanged. And that’s no mistake, as microservices are really nothing more than a new and improved take on the Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) best practices we struggled to hammer out over the last decade. Skeptics, however, might say that this change is nothing more than an exercise in buzzword-hopping. SOA is passé, and now that people are ...

Wholesale cloud is the game-changing third option between building your own (BYO) c...
