LiveOps Opens New Technology Hub in New Zealand

LiveOps Inc., the global leader in cloud contact centre and customer service solutions, today opened a new global development hub to help drive corporate product development and to better serve its rapidly growing regional customer base.

The new development facility is based in the iconic Chorus building in Auckland’s central business district.

LiveOps first entered the New Zealand market in 2011 with the acquisition of publicly listed New Zealand company, Datasquirt. LiveOps retained all of Datasquirt’s staff as part of the acquisition and today employs 21 highly skilled software engineers as a core component of the LiveOps global development team.

The launch of an Auckland development hub coincides with the opening of a new data centre in Sydney, Australia to further support LiveOps’ rapid growth plans in the region, as well as ensure customers with high-speed access to the cloud-based network.

It also follows the recent announcement that LiveOps has raised USD$30 million specifically to accelerate global expansion. The funding was secured from Comerica Bank and represents the single largest round of funding in the company’s history.
