New Factory-Fit MirrorLink® Solutions from Volkswagen, Honda and Toyota on Display at Mobile World Congress

Mobile World Congress — The Car Connectivity Consortium (CCC), an organization driving global technologies for phone-centric car connectivity solutions, is currently displaying factory-fit MirrorLink® Solutions at Mobile World Congress from Volkswagen, Honda and Toyota. These MirrorLink solutions are among the world’s first factory-installed, MirrorLink-enabled infotainment systems for the mass market.

“We continue to see a great shift in the availability and momentum of MirrorLink-enabled products that are coming to the mass market,” said Alan Ewing, president and executive director of the CCC. “These rollouts from key CCC member companies are a vital step in the deployment of MirrorLink to the consumer – and represent the true next generation of car-smartphone connectivity. Most of all, vehicle line-fits confirm that MirrorLink is officially in the here and now.”

In addition, the CCC and its member companies are conducting MirrorLink technology demonstrations in the CCC booth at Mobile World Congress (MWC), taking place now through February 27th in Barcelona at Fira Gran Via, Congress Square booth CS160.

MirrorLink is the leading industry standard for car-smartphone connectivity and is designed for maximum interoperability between a wide range of smartphones and cars. It’s also the only OS- and OEM-agnostic standard for car-smartphone connectivity.
