SANS Institute Wins the SC Magazine Award for Best Professional Training Program

BETHESDA, Md., Feb. 26, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- SANS Institute is pleased to announce it has been selected as the Best Professional Training Program for the fourth time within the Professional Awards category of the 2014 SC Magazine Awards. Winners were announced February 25th at the SC Magazine Awards Gala held in conjunction with the annual RSA Conference in San Francisco.

The 2014 Professional Award winners were chosen by a panel of esteemed security professionals from the private and public sector, hand-picked by SC Magazine's editorial team for their information security leadership and knowledge. When determining the winner, the panel conducted in-depth analysis and considered many factors such as applicable research, analyst reports, and/or product reviews to narrow down the field of hundreds of submissions to just the top finalists. Through this comprehensive analysis the SANS Institute, was determined as this year's winner out of five finalists in this Professional Awards category.
