The Fujitsu ScanSnap S500M, supporting Mac OS(R) X v10.4 Tiger(TM) and Intel(R) or PowerPC(R) based computers, not only comes in a sleek, new design complementary to Mac computers, but is also equipped with improved scanning efficiency, producing scanning speeds of up to 18 pages per minute (ppm) for single-sided documents and 36 images per minute (ipm) for double-sided documents.
