Verizon Wireless Announces Major North Carolina Hiring Push

The carrier is actively hiring 89 positions statewide to fuel its continued growth.

RALEIGH, N.C., March 3, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Verizon Wireless is adding 89 full-time customer specialists and retail employees before April 1. The positions will be based across North Carolina, and interested candidates may apply online by visiting the Verizon Wireless website at www.vzwcareers.com[1].

The new positions offer competitive salaries and benefits, including health care coverage that begins on the first day of employment, and participation in the company's 401 (k) program with a dollar-for-dollar match of up to six percent of an employee's salary contribution.

Verizon, which employs 2,600 North Carolinians, offers tuition reimbursement, adoption assistance and annual bonuses.
