Insurance Insight Group (IIG) announced today that American Equity Investment Life Holding Company has made its products available through IIG’s LISA (Life Insurance Sales Application) iPad app. IIG also announced today that Great American Life will also be adding their products to LISA.
LISA is an iPad app, available through Apple’s iTunes store, that captures an applicant’s signature directly on the application and can transmit policy data to the insurance carrier. LISA can be utilized for just about any type of insurance sale and can assist a producer with education, point-of-sale, taking the application, and submission.
Insurance Insight Group partnered with a leading independent marketing organization (IMO), Financial Independence Group, Inc. (FIG) to assist with the development, testing, and piloting of LISA for these additional carriers. American Equity and Great American Life join Americo Financial Life and Annuity Insurance Company as carriers who offer the LISA iPad app to their appointed agents. These companies believe LISA will increase accuracy and sales while reducing costs and compliance issues.
At a large gathering of insurance and financial professionals earlier this month, Brian Williams, Chief Operating Officer, FIG, noted, “We saw very quickly that LISA was a savvy tool to adopt and broadly introduce to our producers and carrier partners because it makes business easier without impeding the flow of daily activity.”
