Syntricity today announced that Ron Chaffee has joined the company as Vice President of Sales for the Western United States and Asia Pacific regions. He will be responsible for leading sales efforts at the company’s key accounts and will contribute to Syntricity’s marketing and business strategies.

Ron has over 30 years of experience in engineering, management, sales and business development. He served as CEO and President at a number of technology startup companies after being the Vice President of Engineering for Conexant Systems Broadband Media Business Unit. While at Conexant he managed over 400 R&D employees in 7 design centers worldwide. Prior to Conexant Ron was the Director of Product and Test Engineering at Brooktree Corporation, where he deployed dataConductor. Ron has a degree in Electrical Engineering from The Ohio State University and has extensive experience in product development and international business.
