OMAHA, Neb., March 4, 2014 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Ron Carson announced today that he has been appointed to The American College of Financial Services board of trustees. Carson, the founder and CEO of Carson Wealth Management Group, Peak Advisor Alliance and Carson Institutional Alliance will join the group for a three-year term.
"The College is helping the industry by adding capacity – building our next generation of advisors. Over the last 20 years the industry has seen a tremendous number of advisors leave the business and that number will only continue to increase," said Carson. "Advisors entering the industry today not only need to understand the terminology, structure and academic part of the business. They also need to hit the ground running as valuable practice management members of their firms. The College offers turnkey programs that produce effective advisors who are able to join a team and make an impact immediately, and eventually, if they so choose, become a primary lead advisor."
Carson has been recognized many times by his industry peers for his efforts to help revolutionize the industry. Barron's* has ranked Ron one of the nation's top advisors for the last eight years. Also, Rep Magazine* chose Ron as the number one independent advisor in the country for five consecutive years. He has also co-authored two New York Times best-selling books that focus on helping advisors growing their businesses.
"The American College is fortunate to have an advisor of Ron's caliber on our Board of Trustees," said Mike Davidson, MSM, CLU®, CAP®, acting president of The American College. "Ron's efforts in our industry are no small feat. His energy and passion for the success of our students and the next generation of advisors will be a welcome addition to the Board."

When an enterprise builds a hybrid IaaS cloud connecting its data center to one or more public clouds, security is often a major topic along with the other challenges involved. Security is closely intertwined with the networking choices made for the hybrid cloud. Traditional networking approaches for building a hybrid cloud try to kludge together the enterprise infrastructure with the public cloud. Consequently this approach requires risky, deep "surgery" including changes to firewalls, subnets...
