LOS ANGELES, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 03/04/14 -- Fon Davis, ILM alum and founder of Fonco Creative Services, has joined New Deal Studios (NDS) as one of its Creative Directors. New Deal Studios, an ever-evolving creative and visual effects studio, is best known for creating and producing iconic imagery for almost 20 years.
Fon Davis, in his 25-year entertainment industry career, has worked in many areas of production including stop motion, miniature VFX, content development and directing. Fon will be folding the production, art department, model shop and stage of his own company, Fonco Creative Services, into New Deal Studios while he continues his other ventures in education and industry outreach in Southern California.
Fon has contributed to over 30 feature films including:

The motion picture and visual effects industries are experiencing considerable disruption in the last few years. New Deal Studios is pioneering the future by running a tool agnostic facility, emphasizing on the emotion of the scene supported a realistic visual aesthetic and efficient production workflow.
In addition to producing everything from web content, episodic and independent feature film projects, and major feature motion pictures, NDS is also now producing original content in house. Last year alone the studio produced a Western film franchise, Hot Bath an' a Stiff Drink. New Deal Studios co-founder Shannon Gans produced, while Matthew Gratzner directed, co-wrote and produced.
