Improving the Efficiency of SOA-Based Applications
jhv1blz5 wrote: The article validated SOA as an IT architecture paradigm that can be leveraged in many ways. Taking data storage, scalability and application performance to a nifty level using SOA Application Grid infrastructure will no doubt enhance data and application performance on Oracle architecture platforms, it also has the promise of a cost effective and efficient IT delivery model. The very benefits of SOA.

Radar Now Supports Video
Instantly Share Cameraphone Pictures and Video With Your Friends

By: PR Newswire
Nov. 13, 2006 06:17 PM

SAN FRANCISCO, Nov. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- . Tiny Pictures, Inc. announced today that its Radar picture-sharing service now supports sharing of video clips from cameraphones.

"Video sharing is a natural evolution of Radar's notion of visual conversations," said John Poisson, Founder and CEO of Tiny Pictures. "And Radar offers the perfect use of the video features of your phone."

Video clips in Radar work just like pictures: shoot a video with your phone and post it to your Radar, where your invited friends can see it and leave comments. Video clips become part of an ongoing visual conversation with your friends.

"Since Radar is designed for private sharing, you're sharing with people who already understand the context of your life and that context is as much a part of the conversation as the picture or video clip you're sharing," added Poisson. "Because of this, even lower-quality cameraphone videos can be a great way to spontaneously share what you're doing with your friends."

Radar users can also transfer higher-quality cameraphone videos to their PC and post them to Radar via e-mail. Radar supports cameraphone video clips up to 3MB in size.

Radar is available at http://radar.net/ from your PC or mobile browser. Radar is a free service.
