Caroline Worboys, EMEA managing director, Wunderman Data & Insights, was named to DataIQ’s Big Data 50 list as one of the most influential and important people in data-driven marketing for 2014. Designed as a who’s who of the data world, the list was developed by leading marketing journalists and advised by experts from major brands and industry leaders.
Worboys was featured in the "Influencers, Strategists and Thinkers" category as a major figure in data, thanks to her many accolades: winning accounts such as Shell, Adidas and Coca-Cola’s CRM work; developing new European analytics work on global client Microsoft; overseeing Wunderman’s expansion of its KBM Group in the UK; and serving as chair of the IDM Trust.
“A big client focus now is how we connect brands with data, across all channels to make real-time decisions happen and give consumers the connected experience they expect. Organizations are often still siloed, though, so it’s tough,” said Worboys.
DataIQ, a data governance services company, in association with IBM, looked for the most influential business professionals to make up their Big Data 50. Those who made the cut were announced at an exclusive event at Kensington Roof Gardens in London on February 25. The printed report is available at the DataIQ stand E46 at Technology for Marketing & Advertising (TFM&A) at Earls Court, and will be distributed with the spring edition of the DataIQ journal mailed on March 3, 2014.
