Health Care IT Leader Suda Suvarna Joins Press Ganey as Chief Information Officer

Industry Expert to Lead IT Strategy & Innovation

BOSTON, March 6, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Press Ganey, the leading patient experience improvement firm, announced that Suda Suvarna has joined the company as its Chief Information Officer (CIO). In this role, Suvarna will oversee IT strategy and innovation, business intelligence, software development and process improvement, all functions that are essential to delivering best-in-class client solutions.

Suvarna brings nearly three decades of global experience to his role at Press Ganey, most recently serving as the Vice President of Information Technology at Ascension Health, the third largest health care provider in the U.S. with more than 150,000 associates across 1,500 locations nationwide. At Ascension, Suvarna was responsible for leading the development and implementation of technology strategy, architecture, design and standards, ensuring successful implementation and support for the technology solutions for one of the largest business/operational transformations in the health care industry.

Prior to his role at Ascension Health, Suvarna held executive leadership roles at Enterprise Rent-a-Car and YRC Worldwide. His operations and consulting experience includes business development, sales, cost management, mergers and acquisitions, integration strategy and portfolio management. He also has extensive international consulting and general management experience from his tenure with Accenture and Ernst & Young.
