Prairie iNet Helps NE Iowans Get Fair Internet Pricing

Prairie iNet, a division of the nation’s leading fixed wireless Internet company, recently expanded its high-speed service in Northeastern Iowa with customized residential Internet packages starting at $29.95 per month. Prairie iNet charges a fixed monthly fee for unlimited home Internet use.

Prairie iNet had been contacted by angry local rural phone company Internet customers in Winthrop, Quasqueton, Aurora and Stanley after they had received an exponential price increase based on usage rather than a flat monthly fee.

In response to this demand, Prairie iNet immediately secured a suitable location, installed its high-speed network equipment and began offering service in Winthrop; with other areas to follow shortly.

“Our goal has always been to raise the bar for Internet and phone service by providing a reliable, fast and affordable alternative for residential and business customers,” said Scott Perich , VP/Operations of Prairie iNet. “Using state-of-the-art technology, we deliver the benefits of high-speed Internet and phone service to places which were formerly unserved – or only had one provider – helping close the digital divide, saving our customers money and providing enhanced high-speed services.”

Prairie iNet offers three tiers of unlimited monthly Internet service in the Winthrop area based on download speed: $29.95 for 3 Mbps (megabytes per second), $39.95 for 5 Mbps and $49.95 for 10 Mbps. Combined with its great customer service, Prairie iNet’s high-speed Internet provides an enhanced in-home experience for Internet streaming, online gaming, and continuing education.
