SAN FRANCISCO, March 11, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, UberConference announces its add-on for Google Docs. Using the UberConference add-on, which can be found in Google's newly launched add-on store, anyone can now make collaboration live by seamlessly creating a conference call with all editors of a Google Doc.
"With the UberConference add-on for Google Docs, live editing becomes a live conversation with the click of a button," says UberConference CEO and co-founder, Craig Walker. "The UberConference add-on makes editing in a Google Doc interactive and much more manageable."
While in a Google Doc, clicking on the UberConference add-on will open up a sidebar with your UberConference dial-in information. The UberConference add-on shows who is talking at all times. UberConference also makes it easy to record the conference call for future reference.
The Google Docs integration is another in a series of integrations to make UberConference work well with Google properties. Earlier, UberConference launched a Google Hangouts App, a Chrome Web App, an Android App and a Chrome Extension, as well as integrating with Google+ for login, contacts and profile information.
UberConference fixes all the broken and outdated aspects of traditional conference calling, making it a more productive business tool, and transforming an industry that hasn't seen real innovation in decades. UberConference gives a visual interface to every conference call so callers can know who's on a call and who's speaking at any time, in addition to making many other features, such as Google Hangouts integration, easy-to-use with the click of a button. Built by the teams that brought Google Voice and Yahoo! Voice to tens of millions of users, UberConference launched in 2012 and is funded by Andreessen Horowitz and Google Ventures. Learn more.
