The Niagara Falls in North America also featured in the list on second place. The falls have become a popular tourist destination for over a century now and a lot of people associate them with breathtaking beauty.  Trip advisors acknowledge that a trip in North America cannot be complete without a visit at the Niagara Falls. Coming across cultural destinations in this day and age is not easy. For many tourists getting a glimpse of the world most preserved heritages and cultural landmarks is an important priority in the To-do list.

The Eiffel Tower in France also made it into the top ten cultural attraction list. The jewel of Paris is a major cultural landmark that receives in excess of 6.8 million visitors every year.  The tower has been standing tall for 203 years and according to many tour and travel experts, the Eiffel tower in Paris is probably the most popular landmark in the world today.  The Eiffel tower though is not the only cultural destination in Paris. Alongside the Times Square, New York is also home to the Empire State building which many cultural enthusiasts say is the symbol of the city. Standing tall on the island of Manhattan, the deco art skyscraper is a magnificent landmark that attracts tourists from far and wide. Every country in the world has a cultural center or symbol.  Although the United Kingdom has a lot of cultural monuments, few can compare to the British Museum in London. The Museum has been up and running since 1753 and according to historians, the six million artifacts on display at the museum document rich human history. The British Museum is popular among cultural enthusiast especially the Egyptian Mummies, The Rosetta Stone and the Elgin Marbles.

Even though half of it has fallen off to ruin, the monument is still a major global stop for cultural tourists.  The Grand Canyon National park is also a popular tourist destination.  The Park has a unique landscape, breathtaking pine and fir forests, painted deserts, sandstone canyons, mesas and plateaus, and volcanic and geologic features. DevOps is about increasing efficiency, but nothing is more inefficient than building the same application twice. However, this is a routine occurrence with enterprise applications that need both a rich desktop web interface and strong mobile support. With recent technological advances from Isomorphic Software and others, it is now feasible to create a rich desktop and tuned mobile experience with a single codebase, without compromising performance or usability.

Application metrics, logs, and business KPIs are a goldmine. It’s easy to get started with the ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash and Kibana) – you can see lots of people coming up with impressive dashboards, in less than a day, with no previous experience. Going from proof-of-concept to production tends to be a bit more difficult, unfortunately, and it tends to gobble up our attention, time, and money. In his session at DevOps Summit, Otis Gospodnetić, co-author of Lucene in Action and founder...

Thanks to Docker, it becomes very easy to leverage containers to build, ship, and run any Linux application on any kind of infrastructure. Docker is particularly helpful for microservice architectures because their successful implementation relies on a fast, efficient deployment mechanism – which is precisely one of the features of Docker. Microservice architectures are therefore becoming more popular, and are increasingly seen as an interesting option even for smaller projects, instead of bein...

The cloud has transformed how we think about software quality. Instead of preventing failures, we must focus on automatic recovery from failure. In other words, resilience trumps traditional quality measures. Continuous delivery models further squeeze traditional notions of quality. Remember the venerable project management Iron Triangle? Among time, scope, and cost, you can only fix two or quality will suffer. Only in today's DevOps world, continuous testing, integration, and deployment upend...
