Liberty Tree Society appoints Funeral Home as "Living Memorial" headquarters

KEENE, N.H., March 17, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Memories come alive with a Living Memorial: Funerals, they say, are for the living and, for a family going through a loss.  Finding a way to appropriately remember and memorialize their loved one can be crucial to continuing on in life without them. The Liberty Tree Society recognizes that in offering their "customized Living Memorials." Brasco and Sons Memorial Chapels, Waltham, Mass. has been appointed as a Living Memorials headquarters where families can get their personal Memorials.

What is the Living Memorial?
This personal memorial consists of a 6 or 12 ft. tall American Liberty Elm, ready for planting; a customized 8" x 10" bronze plaque, stating in the family's own words, the purpose of the memorial.  The lower portion of the plaque tells the story of the original "Liberty Tree".  Also included is a Memorial reproduction of the plaque on parchment, suitable for framing.

What makes it unique?
* It's in the donor's backyard where they can watch it grow and celebrate it every day – not in a remote forest where they will never be seen.

* It comes with a personalized bronze plaque - with the donor's own words of remembrance engraved in bronze.

* The Liberty Elm will grow up to 100 ft. tall and has a life expectancy of 100 yrs. It will be a family gathering place for generations to come.

Not just for funerals but for the living
