Displax, a developer of interactive technologies today announced the launch of SKIN ULTRA, a transparent film that has been specifically developed to address the demands of global TV manufacturers who are actively exploring the next generation of touch technology for home TV consumers. SKIN ULTRA is a conformable film that can be used in flat, curved and foldable touch screen designs without diminishing performance with performance being comparable to the touch sensitivity of a 10" tablet or a smartphone. The product range starts at 47" and will scale up-to 84" by end-2014.
