Petrotechnics will explore how new technology can be used to manage operational risk and improve production efficiency.

Houston, 17 March 2014 -Petrotechnics, the global leader in transforming frontline operational performance and lowering operational risk, will be delivering a key presentation to senior leaders on how new technology can provide real time dynamic visualization of asset integrity risk and enhance decision making. It will address how they can better manage their asset integrity challenges at the Oil & Gas Asset Integrity Management Conference held at the Houston Marriott Hotel from 24-26 March 2014.

The conference will feature presentations from senior executives of organizations such as Total, Conoco Phillips, Apache, Shell and Petrotechnics. The focus of the event is to provide best practice strategies for improving asset performance in critical environments and operating safely in anticipation of regulatory change.

Mike Neill, Petrotechnics' US President will present on how asset integrity professionals can use new technology to systemize how operational risk is dynamically captured, visualized and managed across plants. With a common and improved view of operational risk, organizations can make better informed decisions to improve the overall the health, integrity, and efficiency of assets. This can help achieve getting more work done safely and achieve operational excellence.

"We've been providing innovative software solutions to hazardous industries for 25 years and we have seen how compliance, regulations, production demands and asset integrity challenges impact production efficiency and operational risk. Often the industry's approach has been to look at these challenges separately rather than holistically across the functions and there isn't a streamlined end to end work management business process," said Mike Neill, President of Petrotechnics USA. "With Proscient, our Operational Performance and Predictive Risk Software Platform, customers can identify and understand overall risk (asset integrity risk, planned or current workload risk and their impact upon each other). With a common view of risk from the frontline to the boardroom, decision making is enhanced allowing organizations to proactively manage workload against risk in the dynamic plan. This Oil & Gas Asset Integrity Management event will give us the ideal forum to share our passion and expertise with the asset integrity audience," added Neill.
