Arrow Electronics to offer nScaled Disaster Recovery-as-a-Service

nScaled solution to be integrated into company's ArrowSphere platform

SAN FRANCISCO, March 18, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- nScaled, developer of the industry-leading all-in-one disaster recovery, online backup and cloud storage solution for IT business continuity, today announced it has entered into an integration and distribution agreement with Arrow Electronics Inc., a global provider of products, services and solutions to industrial and commercial users of electronic components and enterprise computing solutions. The agreement allows Arrow's enterprise computing solutions segment (Arrow ECS) to market, sell and support nScaled's Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS) solution in its growing list of North American channel partners via integration into the ArrowSphere online marketplace.

Arrow will integrate nScaled's Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS) into its ArrowSphere platform, allowing their partner community to configure, price and order the nScaled DRaaS solution. The nScaled DRaaS expertise and resources provided as part of the new relationship also provides increased flexibility for IT professionals who want to help their customers make the transition to the cloud.

The nScaled solution supports organizations with extremely low tolerance for the unavailability of data and business-critical Windows and Linux systems.  For anytime-anywhere access and control, nScaled's Console puts easy-to-use, yet sophisticated, enterprise-class IT business continuity capabilities within reach of medium businesses.  The solution delivers the scalability and security of a private cloud plus the lower cost, simplified management and increased flexibility of public clouds.
