Celtra Builds Global Sales, Strategy and Services with Key Additions to Management Team

Celtra Inc., the global leader for mobile display advertising and analytics across mobile devices, today announced two key executive appointments to its Global Sales, Strategy and Services team: Doug MacDonald, Senior Vice President, U.S. Agency Sales, and Greg Roth, Vice President, Social.

These key new hires join a growing team of experienced sales executives led by Todd Taplin, Executive Vice President of Global Sales, Strategy and Services of Celtra. As the company continues to strengthen the sales function under his leadership, proven industry executives like Mr. MacDonald and Mr. Roth will help Celtra shape the future of display advertising and help grow headcount and revenue in 2014.

Mr. MacDonald will have responsibility for growing Celtra’s U.S. Agency Sales team and revenue, effectively advancing the company’s leadership track in mobile display advertising and analytics in the market. Mr. Roth will guide further adoption of Celtra’s industry leading social rich media offering, which brings immersive rich media ad experiences to social media feeds for Twitter and Facebook.

Mr. MacDonald brings over 16 years of senior management experience in national digital sales with strategic roles at publishers, networks and programmatic video. He joins Celtra from Adap.tv where he served as Vice President East, Agency Sales, responsible for building the Eastern region buy-side sales team to engage agencies and brands, selling Adap.tv marketplace and platform, and selling in-target audience campaigns. Previously, Mr. MacDonald served as VP Digital for NNN's online, mobile and tablet advertising sales with oversight for ad operations.

Mr. Roth brings to Celtra nearly two decades of management practice and a proven ability to generate successful innovations and strategies in social media. Most recently, he was Vice President Social Media & Search for Centric Digital where he created enterprise-wide social media strategies for Fortune 500 companies. Earlier, Mr. Roth served as VP of Buddy Media where he helped significantly growth the company’s revenue and market awareness, leading to the company’s acquisition by Salesforce.com in 2012.
