Jewelers of America Announces Winners of National Retailer Design Competition

The CASE Awards Honors Jewelry Design That Exhibits Creativity, Artistry, Style and Excellence

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - March 20, 2014) - Jewelers of America (JA), the national trade association for businesses serving the fine jewelry marketplace, held its annual national retailer design competition, The CASE Awards, which recognizes independent jewelers who exhibit creativity, artistry, style and excellence in jewelry design. Many of the winning pieces of the 2014 CASE Awards feature handmade elements, bead settings and high quality stones that reflect the vintage style that has become very popular in current jewelry and fashion trends.

"Jewelers of America's CASE Awards retail design competition is the only national platform that showcases the craft and creativity of independent jewelers," says JA President & CEO David J. Bonaparte. "The jewelry that won the 2014 CASE Awards illustrates the talent and fine craftsmanship that jewelry shoppers can find in Jewelers of America-member stores nationwide."

All the winning jewelers are members of Jewelers of America, the largest national association for fine jewelry businesses. Jewelers of America-member jewelers are among most reputable jewelers in the United States, backed by a commitment to Jewelers of America's Code of Professional Practices.

Winners were selected out of 63 entries from Jewelers of America Retail Members for six categories: Jewelry up to $2000, $2001-$5000, $5001-$10000, Over $10000 (retail values); Buyers' Choice and Best in Show.
