MIAMI, March 20, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- As part of its extensive list of new attractions this year, The Miami-Dade County Youth Fair & Exposition is featuring new food vendor, Juicy's™, the leader in outdoor dining and special event food concessions. Juicy's™ will feature a 100-foot, 27-ton tractor-trailer named the "Outlaw Grill." With a cooking area 22-feet long and 6-feet wide, The Outlaw Grill is the world's largest mobile outdoor grill capable of cooking 1,000 foods simultaneously. On Friday, March 21, 2014, from 5-8 p.m. it will attempt to make the largest commercial hot dog in a competition that's sure to mesmerize hungry audiences.
The goal weight for this hot dog is 50 lbs. It is expected that the preparation of the World's Largest Commercial Hot Dog will take 5 lbs. of ketchup, 5 lbs. of mustard, 8 lbs. of relish, 5 lbs. of onions and an 8 lb. hot dog bun. The casing for the hot dog has been custom made for this event. The hot dog will be weighed on an industrial scale. Once weighed, it will be cut up in individual serving sizes and served to fairgoers for $1.00 a plate to benefit Miami Rescue Mission, which provides approximately 950,000 nutritious meals every year.
"I know that our guests will be absolutely amazed when they see the 'Outlaw Grill.' It is massive and something we have never to date had as a part of The Youth Fair," said Bob Hohenstein, President & CEO.
Juicy's currently holds the Guinness Book World Record for the largest hamburger commercially available, which weighed 777 lbs.
From a mere one person corn dog stand in 1984, Juicy's™ has grown to be the leader in outdoor dining and special event food concessions. Originally, founded as Brett's Blue Ribbon Foods, Juicy's™ and the Juicy's™ management team has enjoyed serving customers around the United States.
