Wunderman UK Takes Home Top Grades in Campaign School Reports 2014

Wunderman UK aced Campaign’s annual School Report this year, leaping to “Excellent” with a score of eight out of nine! The report looks at a range of criteria, such as Nielsen billings, total accounts won and lost, and number of staff. Previously, the office received a solid “Satisfactory” mark, garnering six points.

“There was much multitasking to be done last year by Wunderman’s energetic chief executive, Mel Cruickshank, who not only had to ensure that a new-look management front line was successfully bedded in, but also that the agency’s new-business machine didn’t splutter. And all that while making sure its data and insights capability remained compelling,” Campaign wrote in its report. “Cruickshank can look back with considerable satisfaction. Not only does the new team appear to have found its feet, but some significant new business has also come through the door.”

Helmed by the power trio of CEO Cruickshank, chief strategy officer Richard Dunn and chief creative officer Matt Batten, Wunderman’s EMEA headquarters added six new feathers to its cap, including Shell’s consolidated global CRM account, CRM for Coca-Cola in Northern Europe and creative work for Xbox EMEA. Existing clients also engaged Wunderman UK for a broad range of assignments, from digital activation for Procter & Gamble to helping EDF Energy show its support for the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community.
