Marret Resource Corp. Releases 2013 Year End Financial Statements

TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 03/21/14 -- Marret Resource Corp. (TSX:MAR) ("Marret" or the "Company") announces that it has reported a total comprehensive loss for the year ended December 31, 2013 of $3.0 million or $0.15 per share compared to a loss of $3.7 million or $0.19 per share in 2011. As of December 31, 2013, the Company had total assets of $115.3 million, liabilities of $15.8 million, shareholders' equity of $99.5 million and a net asset value per share of $5.13. The Company's Investment manager continues to manage the Company's portfolio with the objective of providing sufficient yield from investments to fund expenses and payment of the monthly dividend.
